The University of Texas at Austin is seeking a Project Manager Position to manage multiple projects simultaneously to successful completion. Under general directions of a Team Lead, provide professional project management in the planning, budgeting, scheduling, programming, design and construction of existing and new university facilities up to 10 million dollars per project. Perform project planning and related duties to include programming, space use analysis, scenario development, scheduling, phasing development, and budget development.

Responsible for managing the efforts of outside design professionals and various stakeholders through project initiation and feasibility studies to develop capital projects by establishing project scope, schedule, budget for concurrent multiple projects. Develop strategies and long range plans for the programmatic requirements of the campus facilities, infrastructure and assets by coordinating meetings with the campus community, building end-users, system-wide administration and appropriate stakeholders. Working with the Replacement and Renewal Program, develop long-range plans and strategies that include requirements to address deferred maintenance and system renewal or replacement opportunities by collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing capital renewal and programmatic campus needs data.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, Facility Management or other related field. Five years’ experience collecting, analyzing, synthesizing and documenting requirements for a project prior to design. Three years project management experience with exposure to cost engineering, planning and contracts administration.
